Camus VSOP Borderies Cognac wins award for outstanding luxury packaging : The Moodie Davitt Report

Jan 27, 2024

Camus VSOP Borderies Cognac has received the accolade of Best Wines & Spirits Packaging for its metal box packaging at the 21st Formes de Luxe Awards in Monaco. The awards are the culmination of an international competition which recognises innovation in luxury goods packaging.

Outstanding packaging: The part-open Camus VSOP Borderies Cognac case reveals mahogany tints of the liquid in the enclosed bottle

The Cognac specialist commissioned Virojanglor, designer and provider of luxury and spirits packaging, to design a luxurious metal box to highlight its two Cognac brands: Camus VSOP and VSOP Borderies.

At a ceremony held for LuxePack Monaco at the Grimaldi Forum, Jean-Dominique Andreu, Chief Marketing Officer of the House of Camus and Eric Boin, Deputy Managing Director together with Alizée Nachbroun, Project Manager in Packaging Development from Virojanglor, received the award

The perforated metal box follows the colour scheme of the regular glass bottle and case packaging – black, gold, lavender blue for the VSOP and copper, white and purple for the VSOP Borderies.

Shelf stand-out: The triptych effect of the Camus boxes contribute to their strong impact

Founded in 1863, Camus is the largest family-run, independent Cognac house, owned and operated by the Camus family for five generations.
